I'm originally from the Olympia, Washington area. I have lived in the Los Angeles area for 29 years. I majored in Speech Communication at the University of Montana in Missoula where I was also a defensive tackle for the two time NCAA Div 1AA National Champion, U of M Grizzlies football team. I have a varied and unusual employment background which includes 6 years as an explosive salesman (dynamite). I'm currently a Marketing Consultant for a major Southern California utility.

I ran away with rock and roll bands twice in my life to do sound engineering work. I have had extensive experience mixing live concerts and working in studios. The last time I ran away with the rock and roll circus I landed in Redondo Beach and I haven't left. I currently live in an apartment overlooking the ocean with my very tolerant and patient wife. I manage to stay friendly with the neighbors even with a James EMB1000 sub sitting over their heads.

I do HT and Stereo consulting work on the side for a good friend of mine who owns Definition Audio-Video in Redondo Beach. I have been able to put together a very nice system for myself through "commission gifts" received for bird dogging big jobs, doing small installs myself, and taking advantage of demos, special deals and trade-ins.

I especially enjoy Concert DVD's on my system.
